For brides and grooms who believe wedding shopping should be an experience in itself, Sabyasachi has unveiled a spectacular new address in Delhi. The designer’s expansive Mehrauli flagship brings together bridal couture, jewellery, art, heritage and unmistakable old-world grandeur.
Spread across more than 26,000 sq. ft. at The Citadel in Mehrauli, Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s new flagship is less a conventional boutique and more an immersive world of Indian luxury. The store opens its doors to the public on August 25, 2026, significantly expanding the brand’s presence in one of Delhi’s most important wedding-shopping destinations.
For couples putting together their wedding wardrobes, the new space brings bridal couture, saris, menswear, international ready-to-wear and accessories together with dedicated areas for high and fine jewellery.
But it is the interiors that make the destination particularly memorable. Inspired by Sabyasachi’s Kolkata roots, the flagship features 120 chandeliers, nearly 200 antique carpets, around 300 original artworks from the Sabyasachi Art Foundation and more than 100 antique textiles, mirrors and decorative objects. Dark timber, marble, vintage curios and rich textiles create the maximalist aesthetic synonymous with the designer.
Touches of Bengal appear throughout—from a wooden installation inspired by a Calcutta tramcar housing a life-size Bengal tiger to a customer lounge influenced by the traditional nachghar. The store also arrives as the House of Sabyasachi begins a multi-year collaboration with New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
For Delhi’s brides and grooms, wedding shopping just got a rather spectacular new address.
